Creek Road

Post-fire temporary back propping followed by soft strip and controlled demolition of apartments from the 5th to 2nd floor. Delivered on time and on budget in 14 weeks.

The work involved two primary phases following a catastrophic fire at Meridian Point:

  1. Installation of a designed temporary back propping system to stabilise the structure and enable fire investigation.
  2. Comprehensive soft strip and careful demolition of the apartments from the 5th floor down to the second floor.

The primary objective was to safely prepare the building for investigation while subsequently removing damaged residential units in a controlled manner. The project reached completion within the scheduled 14-week timeframe and remained within budget parameters.
